Living the Simple Life

Learning to unclutter can be quite a challenge.

When we've lived for so long with one of everything, with instant gratification and with 'hurry up' on our minds at work and at play, removing the emotional and physical 'extras' might be just the prescription we need.

To find out "When Less is More", read more on this topic, and learn how others have voluntarily simplified their lives.

  1. Debbie asked me to post something about my recent experience with a mammogram alternative called thermogram or thermoscan.

It was a positive experience, easy, fast and painless. Administered and read by Ashville Integrative Medicine, they are offered on a monthly basis at Greenville Natural Health in Greenville, SC. They will mail you the results and will also share with your doctor, at your request. There is an initial scan and another in 3 months. This is done to establish a baseline against which to compare future annual scans. After this, you go once a year. This is a personal choice, so please look around, ask questions and you decide if it's right for you. My decision came from reading and discussions with a friend who's had breast cancer. Among the awakenings was the fact that radiation is too common today (think annual visit to the dentist, think mammogram) and that it is not a healthy thing for the body.
